Choosing a White Label Development Partner
The questions agencies should settle before handing a client project to a delivery partner.
Agree on the relationship
Decide who communicates with the client, who approves changes and how the development team reports progress. Set expectations for response times and milestones, and define what happens when a brief changes.
Protect the brand and the work
Agree on confidentiality, intellectual property, repository access and permitted portfolio use in writing. Review third-party licensing and decide how client data will be shared. Clear terms help both teams work confidently.
Define a complete handover
A finished project needs more than a deployment link. Agree on documentation, source access, credentials transfer, acceptance testing and post-launch responsibilities. If maintenance is needed, define it as an explicit part of the engagement.
